Pearson Hinchliffe are proud to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the One Oldham Business Awards.

The aim of the awards is to celebrate business success, whilst also recognising the contribution that businesses make in helping to shape the fabric of our society.

They reward businesses excellence amongst companies located within the Oldham Metropolitan Borough, whether it be for wealth creation, innovation, inspirational leadership or good practice in people management, skills development or environmental issues.

This is the 5th year of the awards and the prestigious event will take place on Friday May 10th at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham.

Steve Kilroy, Chair of the One Oldham Business Awards Steering Group said:
“The awards provide a platform to celebrate business achievement and act as a confidence boost to inspire further development and growth.”

Pearson Hinchliffe have been selected as one of only three finalists in the medium sized business section £1m - £5m.

Speaking after selection Christopher Burke, Partner at Pearson Hinchliffe Commercial law said:  “This is a great achievement for us and a proud moment for everyone in the firm.  There are some very innovative businesses out there and some long-standing established companies with an impeccable track record.  To be recognised alongside them and nominated as one of the best in the area is an honour.”

The judges will consider businesses operating in any commercial or industrial sector but some areas they will be looking for are new product/service development and/or new production techniques. The judges are also asking businesses to demonstrate the local economic, social and environmental benefit that their business provides.
