Solicitors celebrate the season by supporting local causes
Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers' staff better not forget their foodbank donations and #sillysanta costumes and I’m telling you why - Oldham Food Bank and Action Oldham need donations to support our town.
On Friday 14th December, the team are once again giving back to their local community by swapping their suits for silly Santa costumes in aid of Action Oldham Fund. For a donation of £2, they will perform their day to day office duties in the craziest and cringiest Christmas clothes they have.
The money raised will be used by Action Oldham Fund to support small but worthy charities making a positive impact in our local community. For example, the donations will help Chadderton Park Cerebral Palsy Project give young people in Oldham with cerebral palsy the opportunity to play football.
The generous staff have also been adding a few extra items to their Christmas shopping over the past few weeks and will be dropping them at Oldham Food Bank on same day. These food parcels are a lifeline at this time of year for those in the Oldham community who are living in crisis.
Suzanne Wright of Pearson, said “It’s nice to think of others at this time of year. We’ve been supporting the foodbank for a few years now and staff have been really generous bringing in essential items but also those lovely little extras that make Christmas special for everyone.”
