20 years ago today Susan Mayall joined our firm.  Starting out as a secretary, she has since become an Employment Lawyer and today heads up the Employment Team for Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers.

Susan has many regular clients who rely on her for employment support.  With COVID-19 Susan has been one of the busiest solicitors in our practice.  She has had the busiest few weeks of her working career giving advice on everything from Laying off Staff, Furlough Leave, Contracts, Short Term working to interpreting the latest Government advice (which has changed daily in some cases).

Christopher Burke, Equity Partner and Head of the Commercial Team for Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers thanks Susan for her service to the firm by saying, “Susan is an absolute pleasure to work with.  Her dedication to her clients and the Pearson team is second to none.  We’re sorry we can’t provide cake today as we’re all working from home but I just want to say thank you and I look forward to working with you for another 20 years!”

We’re sure our employment clients would also like to thank Susan for the advice and guidance she offers them, particularly through the many challenges  the Coronavirus pandemic  has thrown up.

Richard Eastwood, Equity Partner for Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers congratulated Susan, saying: ,”We would like to congratulate Susan for the tremendous effort she puts into our firm day in and day out.  She is very well liked by her clients and colleagues alike.  She is one of the best solicitors we could wish to work with.”
