Proud To Be Headline Sponsors of Oldham Business Awards

  • Posted on

We are proud to announce that we are the headline sponsors of the Oldham Business Awards 2019.

Entering their 11 years, the awards attract scores of entries each year from all sectors of the Oldham business community and culminate each year in a gala dinner at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.

“It’s an honour and privilege to headline sponsor the Oldham Business Awards,” said Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers partner Richard Eastwood.

“We have worked with generations of business clients over the years offering every one of them a bespoke suite of commercial services.

“I like to think we are at the heart of business life in Oldham and can bring to our sponsorship the experience of many years working alongside start ups, family businesses, big multi-million concerns and national companies - very much akin to the awards categories, serving them all with the pragmatic friendly professionalism Oldham firms specialise in.

“At the same time we will continue our support of the £5-10 million category as we certainly feel it’s important to invest in the future and continue the great work previous sponsors such as Ryder and Dutton and Nat West have done.

“I am looking forward to the event in April next year, we’re looking forward to seeing the entries and wish everyone all the very best of luck,” he added.

Steve Kilroy, chairman of Oldham Business Awards steering group, thanked all the sponsors and supporters:  “Pearson has supported the business awards since the inception over 10 years ago.

"We are delighted that such a major Oldham company is putting its name to the biggest event on the Oldham business calendar."

Entries are now being accepted for the 2019 awards and nominations can be made via the new-look website – www.oldhambusinessawards.co.uk – with the closing date December 21.

Next year's gala dinner takes place on April 26.
