Intestacy Rules
Where a person dies without leaving a valid Will, their estate is distributed in accordance with the Intestacy Rules. These rules can sometimes leave those who should be provided for without an Inheritance.
Who inherits the Deceased’s estate under the Intestacy rules depends on whether the Deceased was married, whether they had children and then the other surviving members of their immediate family.
