The Commercial Property Department at Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers require an experienced commercial property solicitor with 5 years+ PQE to join the award-winning law firm.

Due to increased demand for our commercial services, we are looking to expand the department by appointing a commercial property solicitor to complement our highly regarded team.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

  • Acquisition & disposal of commercial property
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and ancillary documents
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts and transfers

The Employment team are looking for a dedicated Employment Solicitor (preferably 4 to 8 years PQE) to join our award-winning law firm.

Our highly regarded Employment Department is ranked in The Legal 500 directory, and we are seeking an Employment Law Solicitor to join the expanding team.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Serious Injury Solicitor to join our expanding multi-serviced law firm.

This is a full-time permanent role within our Clinical Negligence team who are based at our Oldham office.

The ideal candidate will be 5 years PQE+ and have a proven track record of dealing with serious injury cases.

Requirements and details of the role:

  • Early assessment of claims for liability to ensure each claim is viable
  • Managing a complex caseload from inception to conclusion
  • Experience in Pre and post issue work including experience in sorting and summarising medical records, instruction of appropriate experts on breach of duty of care, causation, condition and prognosis, drafting Letters of Claim, advising on Letters of Response, Instructions to Counsel, valuation of claims, issue and service of proceedings, costs budgeting, advocacy at Case Management Conferences in the County Court, settlement negotiations including drafting and advising on Part 36 settlement offers and general management of cases to Trial.
  • A good understanding of ATE Insurance policies/premiums and disbursement funding models is preferable.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office and case management systems as well as dictation software

Experienced corporate transactional lawyer required to join our growing corporate and commercial team.

The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years’ PQE, with a proven track record of running their own deals and who would prefer to work 3 or 4 days per week.

General corporate experience (shareholders’ agreements, share buybacks, group formations and the like) is also important.
