Coronavirus Update – Services during Lockdown

  • Posted on

In the light of Monday night’s government announcement, we have undertaken a full review of our processes for managing the coronavirus threat. Paramount to this review is the safety of our clients and staff and to ensure that we continue to operate within the new government guidelines.

Many of our staff will operate from home and are well equipped in terms of access to IT and telephones so they are as accessible to clients as if they were in the office. We continue to offer various electronic meeting options such as Zoom, FaceTime and WhatsApp.

Each of our three offices will remain open with a skeleton staff so if a client needs to visit the office we can accommodate this. Although we would prefer not to meet face to face we will do so should it be necessary and will be guided by our client’s wishes and needs as the case dictates.

If you do visit our premises, please expect to have your temperature taken on arrival and we ask that you do not present yourself if you are experiencing symptoms, feeling unwell or are awaiting the outcome of a Covid test.

Following Government Guidance, our aim is to continue providing our clients with exceptional service during the next phase of the coronavirus pandemic, in order to minimise risks.

Every step has been taken to ensure our offices are as Covid-19-safe as possible and for your safety, hand sanitiser stations and face masks will be provided.

We have shared best practice health tips with our teams, reminded staff about being vigilant concerning handwashing and social distancing, stepped up the cleaning of our offices and installed screens in public areas and meeting rooms.

Joanne Ormston, Partner and Practice Manager for Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers says, “If you have any questions or concerns about how you will communicate with the Firm during this lockdown then please do not hesitate to contact your legal or financial adviser who will be happy to address them. It is a very worrying time for everyone but we are well prepared for dealing with the situation and are confident we can continue to provide clients with the exceptional level of service they expect from us’’.
