Richard Eastwood celebrates 25 Years of excellence

  • Posted on

This year marks an extraordinary milestone for Director Richard Eastwood, who celebrates an impressive 25 years with Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers Ltd.

It is a moment that not only recognises his longevity with the firm but also honours the exceptional contribution he has made to its growth, reputation and strategic direction over a remarkable quarter-century.

Richard has been instrumental in shaping the firm’s evolution. As a director and valued member of the Executive Committee, he has played a key role in steering the business through shifting economic landscapes, regulatory change and continuous modernisation. Working closely with fellow directors and advisers, he has helped drive both innovation and stability, supporting the firm’s development into one of the region’s most respected multi-disciplinary practices.

With almost three decades of financial services experience, Richard has built a reputation as an adviser of outstanding insight and integrity. Clients value his clear, practical guidance, while colleagues and peers regard him as a steady and forward-thinking leader. His impact also extends far beyond the firm itself. As an active figure in Oldham’s business community, Richard’s involvement in the Oldham Business Awards steering group is a testament to his commitment to fostering local enterprise. Richard often takes to the stage to address an audience of more than 500 professionals, an indication of both his expertise and his respected standing within the community.

Richard also holds the distinction of being the first Financial Adviser in the UK to become a Partner of a law firm, a pioneering step that helped shape Pearson’s identity as a thoroughly modern, integrated legal and financial practice. His professional credentials further reflect his dedication: as a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute, he brings deep specialist knowledge of tax, trust and estate planning to clients who rely on his thoughtful and strategic advice.

Alongside his directorship at Pearson, Richard set up his own financial services practice in 2020, a move that allowed him to bring his vision for client-focused financial planning to life. The business has continued to grow, driven by his passion, expertise, and forward-thinking leadership.

Outside work, Richard’s drive shows no sign of slowing down. A devoted father of three sons and proud grandfather to three grandsons, he balances family life with an impressive level of personal fitness. Most mornings begin at 5:45 am at CrossFit, and his calendar is filled with races, competitions and Hyrox events. Each winter he heads to the mountains for snowboarding adventures with his sons, an annual tradition that reflects both his love of activity and the joy he finds in sharing it with his family.

Here’s to you, Richard and here’s to the next 25 years of leadership, energy and inspiration.
