Service as normal at Pearson during Pandemic

  • Posted on

As a responsible business we have taken a number of steps to preserve and maintain the safety of our clients, staff and of course our offices during the Coronavirus outbreak in order to minimise any risks - whilst at the same time provide the level of service you would expect from us.

We have been following Government advice and updates from Public Health England and our aim is to carry on and continue to provide our clients with exceptional service in these difficult and uncertain times – this is something which is unprecedented.

If you have a meeting at one of our offices please consider if it is necessary, will an email suffice, can you FaceTime your solicitor?  Conferences and meetings can take place via telephone and we have video conference facilities.

Our legal teams are used to reacting to emails quickly and efficiently and can provide anxious clients with written and telephone advice quickly and efficiently at short notice.

If a meeting is necessary (this may become irrelevant if Government guidelines change) please do not be offended if we have to ask about your recent health, travel or contact with anyone presenting with symptoms.

Some of our staff are currently home working and we are acting on the latest Government advice in relation to self-isolation.

We have also shared best practice health tips with our teams, reminded staff about the vigilance concerning hand washing and have stepped up the cleaning of our offices.

Should things change and we are all asked to isolate we can support clients with a remote service and full data protection.

“If you have any questions or are concerned please do not hesitate to contact your legal or financial adviser, this is obviously a very worrying time for all our staff and clients and one in which we hope to manage professionally and will work alongside our clients at this difficult time,” said Practice Manager and Partner Joanne Ormston.
