Hajirah Zia
Hajirah is a Conveyancing Legal Assistant in our growing residential property department. She has worked for a number of years in law firms across the North West before deciding to specialise in property law.
Her background in Personal Injury law has given her first hand experience in dealing with clients when they are at their most vulnerable and in need of assistance.
Moving house is one of the most important times in a person’s life, for many people it might also be the first time they have used a solicitor so I hope myself and the team can put them at their ease and explain the process to them. There is nothing like that moment when we call a client to say it has all gone through – it’s great to be part of that journey and I enjoy meeting different types of clients and being able to assist others genuinely makes me happy.
The main part of her role is to make sure all deadlines are met for the team and to help the smooth running of the office.
The main aspects of the property law dealt with by the team include:
- Purchases and sales
- Freehold and Leasehold properties including flats, houses, right to buy, help to buys
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
Hajirah gained her Law degree at the University of Central Lancashire, followed by a Master of Law.
