Richard Mills

Richard is the Financial Controller at Pearson and assists with the financial elements of the business strategy.

The main part of his role is delivering all the financial information that the directors and shareholders need to help them make the key business decisions for the firm.
He makes sure staff are paid on time, another key element of his role!

Richard is also part of the management team, not only producing the financial bulletins to the rest of the team on a monthly basis, but also getting involved in key decisions to help the running of a busy practice.

He enjoys working as part of a close team and joined Pearson in 2005 and has developed his career as the firm has grown. He particularly likes the projection and forecasting element of his role and the variety that it involves, whilst allowing him to work closely with not just one department but the whole firm.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his young family, all aspects of fitness and weight training and has taken part in the charity challenges as part of the firm’s Maggie’s Cancer Care support.
