Sarah is a valuable member of our care team and has a wide range of experience specialising in children matters.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and worked as a Local Authority solicitor for 8 years before moving to private practice.

Sarah is a specialist in care proceedings and child protection law, representing parents, children, and family members when social services become involved. With a strong track record of handling complex and sensitive cases, she offers clear, compassionate advice and robust representation at every stage of the process.

Sarah regularly assists clients with:

  • Care proceedings issued by local authorities
  • Child protection conferences and pre-proceedings meetings
  • Special guardianship applications
  • Contact arrangements and placement issues
  • Appeals and applications to vary orders

She is known for her approachable style and commitment to securing the best outcomes for families and understands how stressful and emotional these matters can be. Clients value her ability to explain complex legal issues in straightforward terms and provide strong advocacy in and out of court.

She has been a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2019, which recognises solicitors with proven expertise in representing children and parents in care proceedings.

“I like having a job that makes a real difference in people’s lives.  It is fast paced and no day is the same as the last.”

Whenever possible Sarah undertakes her own advocacy in proceedings to ensure that the best outcome is achieved for her clients.
