Susan Mayall
Susan is a partner in our employment team and has worked for the firm since 2000.
Having qualified as a solicitor in 2004, Susan previously taught both business studies and adults with learning difficulties and believes her former work outside the law adds a useful dimension to her expertise, enabling her to quickly put clients at ease.

Susan represents both employers and employees on a whole host of employment issues including those related to:
- post termination restrictive covenants
- discipline and grievances

In her work representing employers, Susan acts for many local companies as well as some major national companies and charities on a whole host of employment issues. She delivers training and also runs in-house employment clinics for senior management teams and not-for-profit organisations.
If you don’t have an HR professional in house, or simply want more advice than they can give, we can advise and assist you.
Susan also advises employees who are experiencing workplace problems on all aspects of employment law.
Susan has wide experience of advising and negotiating settlements on behalf of both employees and a broad range of employers (including well-known companies and major national chains). This experience gives Susan a unique insight into both sides of employment law disputes.
Working closely with other members of our Commercial Law team, Susan provides strategic advice for Pearson’s commercial clients.
I was really pleased when a client, who is part of a national firm, described my services as an extension of their team.
Outside the Office
Susan is an active networker. In her free time, she enjoys hill walking and spending time with her grown-up family.
