Buying a house in Oldham

According to Zoopla, homes in Oldham are some of the strongest performers in the housing market at the moment and houses are selling faster than anywhere else.

Homes in the North West in general are only taking an average of 27 days on the market before a sale is agreed, so it’s important to get good solicitors with a team behind them who can take charge of your sale or purchase and really get the move made on time for you.

“As our north Manchester area gets more recognition it’s no surprise our team have been busier than ever.  We have a buoyant North West housing market, both for homeowners and investors, and large scale developments,” said Pearson Solicitors Director & Head of Property, Victoria Marshall.

Mossley an underrated property hotspot

Mossley has also recently been picked out as an ‘underrated property hotspot’ by the Sunday Times being named as one of seven winners in the North West after analysis of its people, its schools, its business and its facilities.

The Sunday Times wrote: “Pleasantly out on a limb, this former mill town offers fresh air, awesome scenery, good schools plus fast direct trains to Manchester Piccadilly – with a dash of non-conformist creativity thrown into the mix.

Uppermill, has long been recognised as a top spot to buy, invest or have holiday lets, is again singled out as vibrant place to live and work with a great selection of property types to choose from.
