Michelle Ong
Michelle is part of our growing residential property team and as a qualified conveyancing solicitor has many years of experience. She enjoys her challenging role and dealing with complicated or technical legal situations.
As she says conveyancing is never boring or dull and what she enjoys the most is being able to meet clients’ expectations and being the person they rely upon emotionally during the transaction process.
She has several years of experience focusing solely in residential property and specialises in all aspects of residential conveyancing including:
- Purchases and sales
- Freehold and Leasehold properties including flats, houses, right to buys, help to buys
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
One vital thing Michelle believes a good conveyancing solicitor needs is the right tools to be able to converse with her team, clients and other parties involved in the transaction.
“Communication is key to this job – it is important to build great relationships not only with your clients but also with all other third parties involved to obtain a smooth transaction,” she says.
She relishes the technicalities in her role, not ending the job on completion, but also making sure the new home is legally registered and dealing with various other post completion requirements.
Michelle completed her LLB at the University of Wolverhampton and her LPC at Manchester Metropolitan University. She started her legal career as a paralegal at a high street law firm in Salford before gaining experience at a variety of other quality firms.
