Ashton Solicitors Expanding

A landmark building has a new lease of life with the expansion of Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers in Ashton, bringing high quality legal services to the developing St Petersfield area.

We already have an established clinical negligence office in Fletcher Street, but in our move to prestigious new offices in Henry Square are joined by colleagues in our Personal Injury team, Conveyancing, Family lawyers and Private Client solicitors used to high net worth work, all backed up by in house Financial Advisers.

Pearson’s also have a Commercial law team who already work with many Tameside businesses. As specialists in their area the team appreciate the needs of local businesses offering employment advice, commercial litigation and debt recovery, corporate commercial law and commercial property.

Bringing national experience and expertise to Ashton

Pearson’s are one of the North West’s leading law firms and the move strengthens the legal services they offer in the area.

Although we have been based in Ashton for a number of years and have many local clients, the clinical negligence team pursue compensation claims for clients from all over the country.  Leading Partners, John Pollitt and Matthew Cox, are experienced in dealing with complex medical negligence cases and the team also includes a Nurse Adviser, Janet Dunkerley, who worked for many years in the NHS.

“We understand it can be a difficult decision to pursue a claim but we do our utmost to offer clients support and reassurance,” said Mr Pollitt.

Ashton is developing

“We are excited to be expanding our Ashton services. Pearson’s have worked with generations of families in the Oldham and Saddleworth area and pleased we can now offer a full legal service to a new generation of clients in Ashton.

“It’s exciting to be part of the changing face and development of the area,” he added.

A landmark building

The former Friendship Inn has been part of the redevelopment of St Petersfield and is now back to its former glory. Built in 1827 it was expanded to house the Schofield’s Brewery later taken over by Robinsons Family Brewery.  It closed some years ago but has recently been restored.

“Pearson Solicitors are extremely proud of our new offices which are sympathetic to the buildings heritage whilst at the same time provide an up-to-date modern practice and we look forward to welcoming many new clients,” added Mr Pollitt.
