As a victim of a dog attack, you have the right to compensation, even if the dog’s owner cannot be found. You may be able to claim from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) for your injuries.

We have recently obtained £8,200 in compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority for an elderly lady who was bitten by a dangerous dog when trying to defend her own down from attack.  She required 23 stitches to her hand injury.

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority administer a Government funded scheme to compensate people who have suffered injuries as a result of crimes of violence.
