Branching Out: Pearson Hinchliffe Opens New Medical Negligence Office in Ashton
Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors has opened a new office in Ashton-under-Lyne spearheading its growth into North East Manchester.
The century-old practice, with existing offices at Queen Street, Oldham, has opened a new office at 1-3 Fletcher Street in the heart of Ashton town centre from where it will offer Medical Negligence services. Partner, John Pollitt, a well-known lawyer in the region, will relocate part of his team to the new branch whilst the remaining staff will operate from the firm’s Oldham headquarters under the supervision of partner, Matthew Cox.
John Pollitt said: “Our medical negligence work across the region continues to grow, and now is the ideal time to open an Ashton office.
“The expansion of Pearson Hinchliffe will provide a single local point of access to the people of Tameside. We will be the only dedicated Medical Negligence office in the borough and it will be a privilege to work in Ashton and offer our specialist skills and services to the town’s residents, Tameside and beyond.”
Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors has a formidable reputation for defending the rights of patients who have suffered medical injuries in the region’s hospitals and medical practices. The firm has numerous high-value cases under its belt including a record £6.4 million payout last year for a mismanaged childbirth resulting in cerebral palsy.
John Pollitt added: “Pearson Hinchliffe Solicitors is enjoying a very exciting time in its development. The law relating to medical negligence can be complicated but we have a very strong and successful team serving a traditionally loyal client base in Oldham. We have also regularly been engaged by clients from further afield.
We are looking forward to taking our expertise to Ashton and to improving access to justice for all.”
The new Medical Negligence offices are at 1-3 Fletcher Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL6 6BY.
