Making a Will Gives Cash Boost to Local Hospice
For the past few years Pearson Hinchliffe has supported the hospice’s charity event ‘Make a Will Week’ when firms donate part or all of the fees for their will writing services.
Hannah Pearson, Solicitor at the firm donated all her fees for will writing during this years charity event and said she was proud to support the hospice.
“Dr Kershaw’s is at the heart of our community and so many of our staff and clients have been involved with it over the past few years that it is an honour to support ‘Make a Will Week’.
“Making a will is a vital way to provide for the people you leave behind, without a will you do not know who will benefit and Inheritance Tax legislation means a great deal of what you have could go to the State, “ added Hannah.
“Make a Will Week is a great way to encourage people to think about their estate and help a deserving charity at the same time.”
Lisa Pearson, Appeals Manager at Dr Kershaw’s said: “Every donation is vital to ensuring the hospice stays open as we provide services to the community completely free of charge. Thanks to your generosity we are able to care for more than 3000 patients and their families each year.”Subscribe to our newsletter
