With a wealth of over 30 years of invaluable experience as a solicitor, Karen Kenyon is part of the family team at Pearson.
Her area of expertise is divorce and finances work and she has a wide variety of cases and clients. Her notable cases have taken place in the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords and she was previously part of the Reunite International Child Abduction panel.
What Karen enjoys most about family law is really getting to know her clients, making sure that their voice is heard and that they are treated fairly and justly. Karen thrives on face to face contact with her clients and assisting them at what can often be a difficult emotional time. She is a member of Resolution which seeks a mediated settlement to cases, but at the same time Karen is happy to represent her clients in court and likes the challenges that advocacy brings.
Previously a Partner at Harold Stock and Co she joined the team at Pearson as she wanted to be part of a bigger family team and felt the time was right to enjoy some fresh challenges.
She studied law at Liverpool University and Chester Law College and has practised in Personal Injury and Employer Liability work previously, also working at North West law firm Rowlands.
Karen is a keen sports fan and enjoys rugby, athletics and is an avid Manchester City fan.
