About Laura

Laura qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and started her career at leading national firm Weightmans before moving to Top 20 firm DWF LLP where she specialised in defending high value claims for insurers, self-insured companies and local authorities. Laura joined Pearson after running her own successful boutique firm for several years.

Laura has extensive experience of dealing with all kinds of litigious matters for a variety of clients across Europe (companies, owner managed businesses, insurers, local authorities, charities and Director/Shareholders) across a diverse range of sectors (including construction, retail, services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and professionals).

Laura now specialises in commercial litigation, using her experience to help clients navigate complex disputes to achieve the right outcome for them; whether that be through the Courts, adjudication, alternative dispute resolution or simply tactical correspondence.

Laura also has a particular interest in defamation/reputation management and intellectual property disputes.
